エコーセンター開設7 年目を迎えて～臨床検査技術科の現状と課題～

Abstract

2013 年9 月に開設した当院エコーセンターは7 年目を迎えた．臨床検査技師の行うエコー検査（腹部・乳腺・頚部スクリーニングエコー）の実施件数は年々増加し，緊急検査対応件数も同様に増加している．医師が行っていた検査を臨床検査技師が行うことにより，医師の業務軽減に繋げている．医師とのエコーカンファレンスを活発に行うことで検査技術を向上させ，認定超音波検査士数も増加した．今後は認定超音波検査士の資格取得を推進し，人材育成プログラムやバックアップ体制の充実を図る必要がある．また緊急検査対応をより充実させるための体制を整え，エコー画像の保存・参照を一元管理できるシステム構築も必要であると考える．エコー検査は被曝がなく簡便に検査可能であるという長所から特に小児科などでは有用であり，腹部症状のスクリーニング検査として今以上に活用して頂きたいと考える．

We are entering the seventh year after the Echo Center was opened in September 2013. The number of ultrasound examinations (ultrasonographic screening of abdomen, breast and neck) conducted by the laboratory technician has been increasing year by year. The number of emergency examinations has also increased. The performance of ultrasonography by the laboratory technician leads to reduction in the doctor’s working load. By frequently holding conferences on the ultrasound examinations with the doctor, the sonographic skills of the laboratory technicians have improved, and the number of registered medical sonographers has increas ed. Human resource development including adequate teaching programs and a backup system for the laboratory technician to acquire the qualification as medical sonographer is necessary. It is important to build a system to respond to acute emergency examinations. It is also necessary to develop a unified management system for storage and retrieval of sonographic images. Ultrasound examination is a simple method that enables noninvasive examination which is valuable especially in the pediatric field. We encourage further increase of the use of ultrasound screening in cases with abdominal symptoms.
