給食委託会社の宅配食を活用した COVID-19 感染患児の付添い食の導入

Abstract

当院では多くの COVID-19 患児を受け入れているが，患児が入院した際，付添い者の食事を看護師等の職員が購入して届け る必要があり，付添い者への食事提供が課題となっていた．患者以外へ提供する食事については，入院時食事療養の施設基準 で「患者食と患者以外の食事を明確に区分けすること」が求められている．今回，施設基準に合致する付添い食の導入を目指 し，院内多部署で検討し，給食委託会社の宅配食を活用した付添い食を導入したので報告する．

Many children infected with COVID-19 have been accepted to our hospital. The nurses and hospital staff have had to go out and purchase meals for the caregivers accompanying the children at hospitalization. This additional task has burdened the staff. According to hospital regulations, the hospital meals for hospital stay are designed to support the patient’s recovery and are dis tinct from the meals for non-patients. Multidisciplinary consultations were held with hospital members to consider a meal deliv ery system which would meet these hospital regulations. Herein, the transition to the delivery of meals to the accompanying care givers introducing a private food delivery service is reported.
