COVID-19 ケアの経験がスタッフに与えた影響 〜教育計画と看護師のモチベーション〜

Abstract

当院では新型コロナウイルス感染症患者の受け入れを 2020 年 1 月から開始し，看護師は未知のウイルスに不安を抱きながら も感染症病棟を預かる看護師として奮闘してきた．また，院内クラスターを乗り越え，COVID-19 流行の波に連動した受け入れ 患者数の増減と業務内容の変動を余儀なくされた中で，病棟管理者は様々なストレスを抱える看護師のモチベーションを維持 するために部署看護師を巻き込んで教育計画を立案して取り組んだ．このことにより，看護師の意識の変化等，評価できる成 果が得られた．

We started accepting COVID-19 patients in January 2020. As members of the infectious disease ward, the nurses coped with the unknown virus with anxiety. The staff had to handle in-hospital clusters and adapt to the surge of the patients fluctuating in number with the pandemic wave, while adjusting their shift and workload according to the situation. The ward managers planned the education schedule with the participation of the ward nurses, in order to maintain the motivation of the nurses who were under various stresses. The accomplishments especially the change in the nurse’s consciousness were notable.
