がん化学療法看護認定看護師教育課程修了報告とその後の活動

Abstract

がん薬物療法を受ける患者と関わる中で，治療に伴う副作用に対するセルフケアが行えるように支援することは，患者のQOLを向上し治療を継続していく上で重要であると考えた．そのため，がん化学療法看護に関するより専門的な知識と看護実践能力の向上，患者のセルフケア支援やスタッフの教育・指導方法に繋ぎたいと考え，本教育課程を受講した．その中で患者の背景やセルフケアレベルを見極め，副作用に対するセルフケア支援を行っていくことが重要であると学んだ．日々新規の抗がん剤が採用され，レジメン登録されている中で，院内外で患者が安心して治療を受けられるように院内スタッフの教育や，患者への情報提供，多職種との連携を行い，患者・家族の意向に沿った意思決定支援を行っていくことを課題とする．

As a nurse attending patients undergoing cancer chemotherapy, I considered it important to support the patient to conduct selfcare for the side effects occurring with the therapy in order to improve the patient’s quality of life and enable continuation of the therapy. I decided to take the training course for cancer chemotherapy nursing to gain professional knowledge on chemotherapy nursing and practical nursing skills to support the patient’s selfcare and to train and educate the staff. I learned the importance of analyzing the patient’s situation and level of selfcare to help the patient attend to the side effects. With the constant appearance of new anti-cancer drugs and registration of new regimes, the important tasks are to educate the hospital staff and conduct multidisciplinary collaboration to help the patient receive treatment safely as an inpatient and outpatient and support the decision-making process according to the intensions of the patient and family.
