内視鏡センターへの臨床工学技士（ CE ）の介入

Abstract

内視鏡センターではスコープを始めとする高額医療機器の故障・修理が多い．修理件数・修理費と医療機器トラブルについ て臨床工学技士（ clinical engineer：CE ）が介入する前後 1 年間で比較し，機器トラブルがどの程度減少したかや内視鏡中の 患者へ生じるトラブル等を未然に防ぐことができたかなどを評価した．また，内視鏡センターのスタッフにアンケートを行い，実際に変化を感じたかをまとめた．

The endoscopy center handles expensive medical equipment including the endoscope. We examined the incidences involving equipment trouble, the number of repairs and the cost of repairs the year before and the year after the start of intervention by the clinical engineer. Then we evaluated whether the trouble the patient encounters during the endoscopy could be prevented. We summarized the actual changes recognized by the staff at the endoscopy center obtained by a questionnaire survey.
