当院におけるホルマリン管理と紛失防止策

Abstract

病理検査で使用するホルマリンは，毒物及び劇物取締法において「医薬用外劇物」に指定されており，紛失・盗難の防止策 等を講じることが義務付けられている．今回我々は，ホルマリンの紛失防止策の強化を行った．従来は，出入庫管理のみであっ たが，独自のホルマリンチェック表（チェック表）を用いて，検体提出数も記録することにより，ホルマリン管理を強化する ことができ，紛失防止に繋がった．

Formalin used for pathological examinations is a non-medicinal deleterious substance according to the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law; and, measures to prevent loss and theft are required by law. Here we report the step-up measures we introduced to prevent loss of formalin. Previously, only the storage and retrieval were checked. Now we record the number of specimen filed using an original formalin checklist to strengthen the management of formalin and were able to prevent loss of formalin.
