化学療法センターにおけるVEGF 阻害剤投与患者への薬剤師の関わり

Abstract

VEGF 阻害剤の副作用の一つとして蛋白尿が知られており，定期的な尿検査が必要とされている．しかし，当院では尿検査 を実施していない症例が散見されていたことから，VEGF 阻害剤の副作用対策手順に関するフローチャートを作成し，薬剤師 による尿蛋白検査の代行入力業務を開始した．その結果，尿蛋白検査の実施率は飛躍的に上昇した．今回の活動は，薬剤によ る副作用の早期発見や重篤化防止に寄与すると考えられる．

Proteinuria is known as one of the adverse effects of the inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and it is necessary to conduct urinalysis at regular intervals. However, in some cases, urinalysis had not been performed regularly. Therefore, we made a flowchart of the measures to be taken against the adverse effects of the VEGF inhibitor, and built an assistant order system of the urine protein test for the pharmacist. As a result, the rate of urine protein tests performed increased significantly. This protocol may contribute to the early detection of any adverse effects and prevent them from worsening.
