災害時の二次被害予防 ～エコノミークラス症候群～

Abstract

健康二次被害としてのエコノミークラス症候群（静脈血栓塞栓症）は，新潟中越地震以来注目され，その予防の重要性が喚起されてきているところではあるが，残念ながら今回の熊本地震においてもひとりの犠牲者が出た．改めて，病院では今やcommon diseaseとなっている本疾患についての認識を深め，幾多の地震災害を経て確立してきた支援体制の現状を振り返るとともに，被災地の病院が受援までに行う初動について考察した．

Economy-class syndrome (ECS)，i．e，venous thromboembolism，was revealed to be one of the disaster-related health hazards in Japan after the 2004 Chuetsu，Mid-Niigata Prefecture Earthquake．Although the importance of prevention has been emphasized since then，there was regrettably reported a victim at the recent Kumamoto Earthquake，again． Here，we reviewed the cause of ECS along with the fact that it is also a common disease among hospitalized patients． We reviewed how the support system was established through the experience of several disasters，and discussed how the disaster-area hospital should respond initially to prevent ECS until further support arrives.
